People make me ill. I don't understand how some people can go through life thinking only of themselves. No care for what their actions do to others. When I sense this in people, even just for a second, I detach from them. I have been screwed over enough. I trust easily, but that trust is also easily lost. Eventually people like that will get what is coming to them. You can't live your whole life like that without it turing back on you. Someday they will hurt the wrong person. Someone that instead of walking away, will repay them. I wish nothing bad on others, just that they see what its like for those around them. Those that get sucked dry by them. It will happen...

10 Reasons Why Gay Marriage is Wrong

1) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.

2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behaviour. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and
can sign a marriage contract.

4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Brittany Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.

7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

8) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.

9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans

One of the songs you rarely hear, but when you do, you know its a good day.

So, I had two, yep two, bridal showers last week. One with Sean's side family and friends, and one with my family and friends. Both were very nice. My sister put a lot into the one on saturday. She had games and prizes and all. I had such a great time. They had told me it was a surprise party for my maid of honor, so she still got a b-day present out of the deal. Good thinking on her part hah.

We have so much stuff laying around now though. Trying to weed through the old stuff and put the new stuff away. Now our kitchen table is full of old junk and our hall is full of bags and boxes. So, just 36 days until the wedding...wow. And so much left to do. Stressful...yet so very exciting!

I don't wanna work today...nope, not today.

I feel soooo very lazy....like I could just lay on the couch all day and watch tv, or play a video game. yeah....that would be nice....

So, I had a purdy good labor day weekend. I had to work on Sunday, but it wasn't so bad. Saturday I did some laundry (oh joy what fun) and went shopping with my mom. THat was nice, I got my shoes and she got her dress for the wedding. Sunday, after work, Sean and I went to Chris and Amanda's engagement party. I finally got Amanda to talk. THe few times I have met her she had been very quiet. I think they make a very cute couple. Monday I had a bridal shower Yay! I am still anticipating another one...This one was all Sean's side. None of my family was there except my mom, so I think there is a bride side one coming up. I had a very nice time though. Got lots of presents which is always exciting. So....yeah...I had a good weekend...went too fast though.

I have a question for anyone who knows anything about salary pay and how it works with sick time and such.
If you are on salary and need to leave early/come in late/ leave and come back during the day, whatever, isn't it part of the benefits of salary to get paid you full pay anyway? Doesn't only a full day off constitue the need to use sick time? Otherwise...its hard to really see the benefit of salary. If I stay late or skip lunch, I don't get paid for it...but now if I have to leave early I have to use my sick time? Anyone know if this is how that usually works?

Getting worse....

I think someone stabbed me in my left hand, but then healed the outside and didn't tell me. All I am left with is pain and confusion as to why.

So, today I got to drive one of these.

It was hot!  V8, 280 horsepower...Sweet.  I am used to little 4 cylinder car.  This thing was so very smooth and has awesome pick up.  Corners beautifully.  YEah....I want it.

Headwear is a company full of complete assholes!

My head is killing me...I haven't had a headache this bad is a long time. Just bought some excedrin....hopefully it will work or I may just die or just cry....maybe both...

Today is going to suck....I can already feel it.

Good thing tonight is a Sean night....that makes me feel better just knowing I get to spend the evening with my pookie.
